We Animate Things That Probably Shouldn't Move.

Founded by Max Joyce, Winston Foo and Dung Nguyen, MaxFoo specialises in developing original animation IP and character-driven stories that sit somewhere between absurd comedy and emotional catastrophe. Their work draws from the awkwardness of growing up, the strange corners of online culture, and the belief that animation can be both deeply stupid and surprisingly sincere.


We exist for the weird kids, the arts students, the terminally online, and anyone who still believes original stories are worth making. From a small studio in Perth, we're building animated worlds with local voices, for global audiences, and just enough chaos to tickle your little fancy, oh yes mmmm that's right. We love tickling just as much as we looove clubbing seals. Clubbing with seals, that is.
